The Department of Pediatrics at McMaster University and McMaster Children’s Hospital are seeking a Pediatric Infectious Diseases specialist for a 6–12 month locum tenens position in the division of Pediatric Infectious Disease.  The anticipated start date for this position is December 1 2021. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for direct patient care including inpatient clinical service, with a focus on outpatient clinic, as well as educational teaching in the division of Pediatric Infectious Disease.  Candidates should possess excellent clinical skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively with families in the care of children.  Candidates are expected to demonstrate strong commitment to best practice and advancing knowledge in the field of Infectious Diseases.   Additionally, there is an expectation of excellence in the commitment to teaching across the spectrum of learners.
