Infectious Diseases Specialist (Part-time)

The Department of Medicine at SHN is seeking a part-time ID Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be working with a strong, supportive, and collegial group of colleagues in a three-site community hospital organization committed to providing high quality, comprehensive clinical services. As a staff ID Specialist, you will be responsible for providing consultations to in-patients as well as having the opportunity to work in a general ID out-patient clinic and in our COVID Therapeutics clinic.
The successful candidate must be eligible for independent practice licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, and hold certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. Emphasis will be placed on candidate(s) with experience working in a community hospital setting with strong communication skills.
