NL Health Services is Newfoundland and Labrador’s new Provincial Health Authority. 

Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services is currently recruiting Medical Officers of Health to work in permanent, and short/long term locums in various locations, including an option for remote work. As part of a newly established Provincial Public Health Program the incumbent will support activities on a Provincial Level but will also have focused duties within a specific geographic zone. For locum positions duties may be more focused/limited. 

 Qualifications: 

✓ All candidates must be eligible for licensure by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador 

✓ Possess certification in Public Health and Preventive Medicine with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and/or equivalent qualifications in public health.
