Infectious Disease (Locum)

Joseph Brant Hospital - Burlington, ON

The Locum role includes inpatient consultation service and call, as well as participation in the JBH ID clinic; both in rotation with the other ID consultants. Our ID division provides care to a wide variety of patients and is supported by a dedicated ID/Antimicrobial Stewardship Pharmacist, the Infection Prevention and Control team, and the Hamilton Regional Laboratory Medicine Program.

As we are a clinical education campus of McMaster University, the successful applicant will be expected to contribute as a clinician-teacher at both the undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Candidates must be a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada with an FRCPC Certificate of Competency in Infectious Diseases. Registration with (or eligibility for) the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario is required. Established physicians and graduating residents are both encouraged to apply.

Applications (CV and a letter of interest) will be accepted through the Medical Affairs Office
