Infectious Disease Clinician with Special Expertise in HIV

The Department of Medicine (http://www.departmentofmedicine.com) in the Cumming School of Medicine, University of Calgary and Alberta Health Services (http://www.albertahealthservices.ca) invites applications for a permanent position as an Infectious Disease Clinician-Scientist at the Clinical Assistant Professor level with additional expertise in the care and management of those individuals infected with HIV.

Candidates must have evidence of strong clinical training and performance in the investigation and management of all infectious diseases and their clinical mimics.  The successful candidate will also be an individual who has experience and expertise in HIV and AIDS outpatient care. Specifically, the individual will be experienced and knowledgeable with the diversity of current and imminent anti-retroviral therapies, the management of long-standing and emerging HIV-related comorbidities and the social determinants of HIV health.
