The time has come again for us to invite you to THE Canadian annual meeting in infectious diseases and diagnostic microbiology. Mark your calendars! From April 5 – 8, 2022, the AMMI Canada – CACMID Annual Conference will return in a hybrid format: in-person in Vancouver, BC and online via our virtual platform. With picturesque mountain views and cosmopolitan charm, the seaport city of Vancouver offers world-class experiences for all attendees. We hope that you will join us, whether in the comfort of your own home or office or in Vancouver, for another excellent conference.
The AMMI Canada – CACMID Annual Conference strives to support the collective interests of students, technologists, and professionals in the areas of diagnostic microbiology, antimicrobial stewardship, infectious diseases, infection prevention and control, and public health. Once again, we are inviting you to share your research results with your colleagues and submit an abstract to the 2022 AMMI Canada – CACMID Annual Conference. If you are a student or trainee, this is an excellent forum to build your presentation skills, and there are a number of awards available to you. Please follow this link to submit your abstract. The submission deadline this year is January 6, 2022.
As usual, the Scientific Planning Committee is working hard to develop a meeting with broad based appeal. We strive to bring cutting edge topics and engaging high-level speakers to the meeting to ensure excellent scientific discussion. Topics covering COVID-19, Addictions Medicine, Aerosol versus Droplet Precautions, and hot topics in diagnostic microbiology, adult and paediatric infectious diseases are being prepared. New to 2022 are our exciting Masterclass sessions on specific niche topics with limited attendee numbers to create a more enriched and personalized learning experience!
AMMI Canada and CACMID have collaborated in hosting a high quality annual meeting for their members since 2005. On behalf of the Central and Scientific Planning Committees, we look forward to hosting you in Vancouver or online for an exceptional educational event with unique opportunities to network and socialize with your colleagues.
